Learn More About Assent Therapy ABA

Assent Therapy ABA is founded on the principles of choice, acceptance, and support through communication and advocacy for your family. Assent is the ability for your child to choose their own path. At Assent Therapy ABA, we promote your child’s ability to choose by teaching them how to engage in meaningful ways and communicate their needs, often reducing their need to engage in problematic behaviors.

Assent Therapy ABA currently offers in-home, in-community, and in-center ABA services in the greater Indianapolis region.

About Sarah Ellenwine

Sarah believes a wide variety of experiences is crucial to providing high-quality services. Before becoming a BCBA, she provided 1:1 services as an RBT in various private schools, daycares, preschools, in-home, in the community, and in clinical settings. As a BCBA, Sarah has experience leading a team as a program manager in-clinic (with emphasis on the supervision and training of RBTs providing 1:1 services). She did this in person and remotely/virtually, utilizing a wide variety of therapeutic approaches.

From this wide variety of experience, she has developed her strongest skills, outlined as follows:

  • Developing a family-centered approach
  • Personalized parent coaching
  • Collaboration across disciplines (speech, occupational therapy (OT), feeding specialist, etc.)
  • Developing strong leadership roles as a supervisor to large groups of staff
  • Primarily, she has worked with children ranging from ages 1.5 to 8. Sarah works every day, with the help of her team, to ensure that the families she serves receive the best outcomes possible.

Sarah has worked with large ABA companies and small start-ups, flourishing with a wide variety of ABA styles/approaches, BCBAs, virtual/in-person services, and service-delivery models. This experience has allowed her to bring forth the best from all those experiences to your family.

When Sarah is not working, she enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, volunteering for families needing parent coaching support, and traveling with her husband, Alvie, and their two children.
